A wall printer is a UV inkjet machine that stands against a wall and prints full-colour images directly onto it — drywall, brick, concrete, glass, tile or wood — curing the ink instantly. Not sure which wall printing machine fits your work? Read the buyer's guide.

Hypermural X
$18,900
Wall-only direct-to-wall UV printer with two Epson I1600 printheads (one CMYK, one white), up to 2.4 m print height with unlimited width at 2880 × 1440 DPI.
The Hypermural X is the wall-only configuration of the Hypermural platform. It carries two Epson I1600 printheads — one for CMYK colour, one for white ink — and prints directly onto vertical surfaces up to 2.4 m high with unlimited width, stepping along the wall as it goes. Ultrasonic sensors compensate for uneven walls, and the machine prints no closer than 50 cm to the floor or ceiling. Production speed is roughly 25 minutes per square metre (about 2.4 m²/hour) in CMYK at normal quality; a white underbase adds time. There is no white-ink circulation system. The modular design splits into four portable packages for transport between job sites.

Hypermural X Dual
$22,600
The Hypermural X platform extended to floors. Two Epson I1600 printheads — one CMYK, one white — printing on both walls and floors.
The Hypermural X Dual is the same machine as the Hypermural X, extended to print on floors as well as walls — that is what "Dual" refers to, not the head count, since both models carry two Epson I1600 printheads. One head is dedicated to white ink and the other to CMYK colour, so white can be laid as a base layer on dark, coloured or transparent surfaces while colour is printed from its own head. Wall printing reaches up to 2.4 m in height with unlimited width at 2880 × 1440 DPI, and the machine prints no closer than 50 cm to the floor or ceiling. Production speed is roughly 25 minutes per square metre (about 2.4 m²/hour) in CMYK at normal quality; a white underbase adds time. There is no white-ink circulation system. Immersive Dual
$17,600
A 2-in-1 wall and floor printer. One-click switch from wall printing to floor printing in under 60 seconds.
The Immersive Dual is a true wall and floor printer: it combines wall printing with the capability of a dedicated floor printer. An intelligent auto-flip system switches modes in under 60 seconds, an innovative helical rack drive keeps motion precise, and wireless iPad control is available as an option. Wall and floor printing up to 2.4 m, unlimited width.

Vertiq Apex
$18,700
The most surface-versatile machine in the lineup — prints on almost every surface, on both walls and floors.
The Vertiq Apex is built around one idea: print on almost anything. Brick, wood, concrete, marble, glass, ceramics, stone, metal, fabric, plaster, tile, stucco and more — porous or nonporous, light or dark, indoors or out. It runs two Epson I1600 piezo printheads with a CMYK + White LED-UV ink system (395 nm curing) at up to 1440 DPI horizontal / 720 DPI vertical, unlimited print width and up to 2.4 m print height, and prints on both vertical and horizontal surfaces, so one machine covers walls and floors. Ultrasonic sensors correct for up to 10 cm of wall unevenness, and the full-aluminium modular frame breaks down into padded carry cases for single-person transport. Price is $18,700.

Vertiq Nova
$13,700
The entry point to the Vertiq lineup. All-in-one wall and floor UV printer, 2.4 m print height with unlimited width, CMYK + White ink.
The Vertiq Nova is the most accessible way into direct-to-surface UV printing. It prints walls and floors up to 2.4 metres high with unlimited width, using an Epson I1600 printhead with CMYK + White UV ink and air-cooled UV LED curing. Ultrasonic sensing corrects for wall unevenness up to 10 cm, and the wheeled belt-gear drive keeps the unit stable on site. Resolution runs from 720 up to 2880 DPI with 4, 6 and 8-pass modes, printing roughly 3–5 m² per hour depending on pass count. Power draw is a maximum of 350 W on 100–240 V, and files come in over USB or Wi-Fi. Price is $13,700.
